Nope. CVS Autoconf has a macro to remove strings from the blacklist.
ifdef([m4_pattern_allow],[m4_pattern_allow([AM_CFLAGS])])
will let you refer to AM_CFLAGS in configure.in without introducing
any dependency on CVS autoconf.
