Good question. I suppose if the PWM starts up and the reference voltage appears on the AREF pin that it's working. On Friday 07 January 2005 06:11 pm, Ned Konz wrote:I'm setting the fuses so that RSTDISABL is programmed (I'm using theRESET/PB5 line to drive a LED). I was talking to a Atmel FAE and he "encouraged" me to leave it as a resetThat's interesting. I hate to give up 1/6 of the I/O lines, especially since I've used all the other pins. I suppose I could use the AREF pin for something else and not bother to put a bypass cap on AREF, but I'm dealing with 50mV signals into the A/D, with the PWM continually running.line.
Did he say why he was encouraging you to keep it as a reset line? Thanks, Ned
