GCC 3.4.3 vs. 3.4.4 probably makes not much of a difference.
binutils 2.16 has support for some of the recent AVRs added by
default (CAN128, tiny13/2313, megaX8).

ISTR at least one major ``pessimisation'' issue has been fixed that
affects the AVR target.
