URL: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?30756> Summary: When setting SUT to 64ms on XMEGA, avrdude doesn't read device signature Project: AVR Downloader/UploaDEr Submitted by: zsimon Submitted on: gio 12 ago 2010 10:18:06 GMT Category: None Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Simone Zamboni Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: I'm using avrdude 5.10 with AVRISP mkII on USB. In my last project I set up device SUT (start up time) to 64ms to let the power supply settle. I found that invoking avrdude it reports that the device signature is 0x000000. I can bypass the error with -F option but I think that the problem could be easy to fix inserting a 100ms delay before reading the device after it has been reset. Device SUT is available for XMEGA devices in the fuse bits. P.S. With SUT of 4ms, avrdude reads the device signature correctly. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?30756> _______________________________________________ Messaggio inviato con/da Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/
