The documentation at http://www.nongnu.org/avrdude/user-manual/avrdude_4.html#Option-Descriptions needs improvement for the -y option. While there is little doubt that the count is incremented for a command like avrdude -c someprogrammer -p somepart -e it is not clear if the count is incremented when an implied -e occurs as part of a normal write to the flash memory using something like avrdude -c someprogrammer -p somepart -U flash:w:somefile.hex Maybe it doesn't increment for an implied -e !! -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/Documentation-clarification-tp33022459p33022459.html Sent from the AVR - AVRdude - Dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
