I just bumped the version in configure.ac to "6.0rc1"; it has
been at "5.11svn" for way too long now. Yes, this is a strong
indication we are heading for a release. ;-)
As a reminder to those developers adding files to the tree: please
don't forget to also add them to Makefile.am.
