I didn't say "recent".  I said "last" :-).  And just so it's clear,
here's the entry I'm referring to:

        Case insensitive FS choke on Automake/ vs automake.
        Reported by Tim Van Holder.

        * Automake/: Move in...
        * lib/: this new directory.

I used this to start the build:

          cvs -z9 \
              -d:pserver:address@hidden:/cvs/automake \
              -Q \
              checkout -d $(DISTNAME) automake
