[Bug swing/24651] New: JMenu layout problem with nested menus

JMenus with nested submenus look bad and partially unuseable. 
Tested with classpath cvs head as of 2005.03.11 09:00 MET with
jamvm 1.3.2 on linux-x86-gnu. I suspect the recent BoxLayout change.

See the attached screenshot for a typical example: the labels for the 
submenus are centered instead of left-aligned, and the width is too small. 
As a result, the nested submenu appears at the wrong position and is 
partially hidden.
