[Bug awt/29510] New: BufferedImage / Graphics2D performance problem

There is a severe performance problem using Graphics2D against a BufferedImage
which shows up when running StatCVS (which draws a lot of charts to
BufferedImages before writing them to disk).  I've reduced this to a simple
test case that takes around 100 milliseconds on Sun's JRE, and around 75000
milliseconds with GNU Classpath.  I'll attach that in a moment.

This is a regression, because StatCVS has worked in the past with reasonable
performance.
