Follow-up Comment #2, bug #66461 (group gettext):
Thanks for the notes. I can confirm that if I update the lang-python-* tests
to python3.10, then they pass.
For the lang-perl-* tests, I use Fink and have locale-textdomain-pm-1.33
installed (which is libintl-perl on CPAN) and has Locale::Messages installed
as $PREFIX/lib/perl5/Locale/Messages.pm. With that installed, the tests fail,
with it absent, the tests are skipped (as expected).
Since the tests are superfluous on macOS, is there a way to skip them when
running `make check` besides editing them out of tests/Makefile?
