Aiya!
I am interesting in porting glibc to Cygwin, Redhat's GNU/Linux
emulation for M$ Windows environment. Currently Cygwin is based on
it's own C library that does not contain all GNU routines. So, it is
difficult to port many GNU/Linux programs to Cygwin. I think it would
be great if we have full GNU C library under Cygwin.
May I rely on your help in this work? I have read Library Maintenance
chapter of glibc info. What I have to do now? Can Cygwin port of glibc
meet with GNU philosophy and do I have a chance for including this
port into official distribution?
