Follow-up Comment #2:

Harry, can you try an experiment for me?  PSPP builds a program called
"dissect-sysfile".  Can you try running this program for me on Windows with
the .sav file in question as the argument, and then send me the last 1000
lines or so of the output?  (The full output will be over 500 MB, but I am
only interested in the last part.)

I don't need the output on GNU/Linux, since I've already got that right here.
