Thanks for the bug report.

The Cut-n-Paste behaviour of the sheet is less than perfect as you have
discovered.

We are in the process of completely re-writing the sheet, which will fix this
problem and a many others.

     Hi.?
     I'm post-coding open-ended questions directly on the PSPP data screen;
however, the outcome has been quite frustrating so far.?
I'm using PSPP 0.7.8 under Ubuntu 10.10 (I tried also under Fedora 16 with
the same results)
Find attached a sample *.sav file on which I'm having big problems while
using ctrl-c ctrl-v to copy values from one cell to another. These are some odd
behaviors I have suffered using the ctrl-c, ctrl-v sequence.?
     1. The value in a numeric column next to a string gets wiped off when I
replace the value of the later .
     2. Some weird, apparently rand. om values appear in an active numeric cell
as well as in the contiguous rows and columns
     3. Values in a numeric column were replaced by a sequence of numbers
overwriting previous values.
     4. After copying values to a string cell the whole Ubuntu (or Fedora)
system froze; I waited for 10 minutes then "unplugged" the machine.?

These behaviour appeared consistently some 8 times after I used the ctrl-c
& ctrl-v sequence.?

Can't tell you more. Hope you can replicate my problem.?
