In the usual case, translations are copied unchanged from the
Translations Project, so you should send bug reports like these to the
French translator.  In this case coreutils-4.5.2/po/fr.po says that
the translator team is French <address@hidden>, and the last
translator is Michel Robitaille <address@hidden>.  So I am
CC'ing this message to them.

While looking at your patch I noticed that Torbjörn Granlund's name
was missing an umlaut in the translations, so I'll include that as
well in the patch proposed below.  (I realize that a lot more work is
needed to get the French translation up to speed with coreutils 4.5.2,
but I don't write French so I'd better quit while I'm ahead.  :-)
