Hi,
In http://mail.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-gnu-utils/2003-02/msg00174.html

This doesn't make sense to me. POT files don't get installed. Only MO
files get installed, and the location
$prefix/share/locale/<locale>/<category>/domain.mo
is the same location on every system. It is the right location because
libintl looks exactly there.

This was a bug in evolution's configure.in.

This doesn't make sense to me.
- Your Makefile.in.in.diff is relative to a modified version of
gettext 0.10.40. Please always tell which version your patch is
based on. And gettext 0.11.5 is out there for six months now.
- Your patch doesn't deal with install locations at all. It only
changes suffixes.
- Your patch is a nop because CATOBJEXT always gets assigned to ".gmo"
in gettext-0.10.40/m4/gettext.m4.
So, if you want to progress, please just describe the "critical issue
for Solaris evolution" that you are facing, in detail. Not other
unrelated problems and unrelated patches.
