Hello,
I just tried to use texinfo on SuSE 9.2.
Texinfo did not work on this platform
because there is a bug in SuSE 9.2.
This web page says that texinfo 4.7
can be installed from CD1, but in fact
there is no such thing on any SuSE 9.2 CD:
