I'm having a hard time getting gettext to compile on OpenBSD 3.7. (The
gettext that ships with the system is pretty old, 0.10.40.) The problem
is that the tools (msgcmp, etc.) fail with an unresolved symbol,
libintl_gettext(). I haven't been able to track down whether the tools
are getting the symbol-renaming header and shouldn't be, or whether they're
not linking against the right library, or what. Can you give me any pointers
on how to investigate this further? What *should* be happening here?
