Most of the documentation is in British English (which I prefer!). However
as Americans always spell checker as "checker" and the British spell it as
*either* "checker" or "chequer" I'd suggest keeping it simple with
"checker".
In the FAQ I've changed it all to "checker", but the menus and options
within gnubg itself will need changing.
Other words that have had some confusion in the FAQ are "point", "pip" and
"spot". I call the triangles on the board "points", "pip" I only use as a
unit of counting, and "spot" I'd never use as it just adds confusion over
"point".
