Win IE 5.5 shows the 7 checkers 'floating'

I guess I wasn't too clear - I just added the 7 chequers as a test. I've not looked at changing code or anything.

In theory it should be possible to have a blank board image and then add the chequers, dice and cube to build up a position. I was wondering if people thought this was worth looking at further?
