I appreciate you looking at it.
Yet, the problem mentioned does not occur at my machine.

I agree that I couldn't reproduce the garbled text.

I did find a little memory bug whilst importing the sgg file though. The memory tracking code I added picked this up: At play.c:518 attempt to free memory block twice, allocated import.c:1738 first freed import.c:1775

Looks like it should be set to NULL after the first free?
