No, I talking about the predefined settings. World Class, Supremo and
Grandmaster. Should the World Class predefined setting use pruning?

Also, in the Hint and analysis window there is a set of tool buttons
labeled 0 1 2 3 4. Pressing one of these buttons does a cubeful  n ply
evaluation of the position or selected move. But should this be a
evaluation with or without the pruning nets?

Well, they should. At least a global flag for all ...

I'll tell you my opinion as well: The pruning nets are so good and gives so
much speed improvement over not using them, so I guess we can have them on
at all predefined settings.
