As I wrote yesterday, I'm soon to commit a patch which extensivly uses
preprocessor defines for all reduction code. It will be like this:

#if defined (REDUCTION_CODE)
     Blah blah 50% 33% etc.
#else
     Pruning neural network stuff
#endif

Will this interfere with anything you want to commit?
