Yes that sounds about right.
Right now, I suggest that we
change the version to 0.9.0,
commit to CVS,
tag the CVS with 0.9.0,
make a source tarball and windows binaries
change the version to 1.0-pre
commit to CVS
and for the following versions
change the version to 0.9.X,
commit to CVS,
tag the CVS with 0.9.X,
make a source tarball and windows binaries
change the version back to 1.0-pre
commit to CVS
For the windows version I believe that the version numbers are
manually changed in peoples personal config.h. Perhaps adding a
-D"VERSION 0.9.0" directive to the makefile would be a good idea.
