I find the current setup pretty confusing.

- in the rel_0_9_0 branch, the version is 0.9.0-1: what's the -1 supposed to indicate ?!
- in the main branch, the version is 0.9.0 ?!

I don't think we need a separate stable branch until we reach something that is really
stable (in Christian suggestion non branch was requested).

I'll keep on building from the MAIN trunk. As soon as we have a really stable version
(i.e. 1.0), then we'll create a stable branch (like 1.0-stable) and I'll build from that
too.

Right. I also have a similar thing in the InnoSetup script that creates
the installation archive.
