Well done. This gives access to a lot of useful information, yet in a 
very natural and intuitive way.

Regarding the layouts, I don't like vertical 1 because the setiings are 
much less readable than in vertical 2. The latter is more consistent 
with the other gnubg widgets but on my small laptop with a 768 pixels 
only screen height the scoremap windows are too high. The horizontal 
layout is fine but vertical 2 with a smaller default window would be ideal.

I agree with Ian that the away scoring is more natural for this kind on 
analysis. I'd prefer it to be the default.

I was a bit surprised to be able to open multiple scoremap windows. This 
is not that useful by itself since there is no clear indication that 
relates each window to the corresponding move. On the other hand, it 
could be handy to not have to close such a window before opening another 
one.
