One thing that is apparent when taking a look at the iTuneDB is that your
iTunes (which version is it?) does NOT add any hash to the iTunesDB file
while gnupod does. See http://www.ipodlinux.org/wiki/ITunesDB for some
information on the format.
Do you set a model in your .gnupodrc ?
