Keeping an image after booting

   Hey,

This probably doesn't concern GRUB but I don't know where to ask
this, so...here I go.

I'd like to load an image (with a 'splashimage' kind of command)
and KEEP it after the kernel loading, until the first 'rc' script starts.

Does anyone how can I do this? Can't I set some kind of 'timeout'
before the kernel starts to put stuff on the screen?

Since I'm not subscribed on this list, please answer directly to me.

   Thanks in advance,

   Felipe.
