Dear Sir,

i have implement lfs 5.1 (linuxfromscratch). The grub
version is 0.94. it generate map file as 
(fd0)   /dev/fd0

menu list file is 

default=0
timeout=10
splashimage=(hd0,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz
title Red Hat Linux (2.4.20-8)
        root (hd0,0)
        kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.20-8 ro root=LABEL=/
        initrd /initrd-2.4.20-8.img
                                                      
                                          
# The first entry is for LFS.
title COMNIX Version(1.0)
root (hd0,1)
kernel --no-mem-option /boot/lfskernel root=/dev/hdc2 

this file we have chnger of redhat, not our lfs menu
list

the partition where lfs resides is hdc2.

Your assistance will help us great.
