This is not a bug report on grub but on the startupmanager.  I ran this program in order to change the screen density from default to 800 x 600 and the color density to 24 bits.  In the process, the grub screen login image was scragged and the terminal settings changed to garbage.  Now all I get when I boot after the initial grub screen is a lot of colored nonsense.

How can I restore this program without having to reinstall my system?

UBUNTU 9.10 (Lucid Lynx) Beta 2, updated to current.

Thanks for your kind attentions,

John Winterton.
