Reporting the Microkernel in the GNU triple? |

Should we be reporting the microkernel in the GNU triple? If yes,
what's the nicest way to do it? If not, what's the right way for a
utility to determine if it can safely do L4ish things or Machish things?
Also, config.guess doesn't report the version number for GNU/Linux -
anyone know why? I just spent some time trying to find an elegant
solution for a problem that wouldn't exist if we didn't have the 0.3 in
"i386-unknown-0.3"
