Thanks for the documentation and for noticing that panic was still
leaking into some areas of the code.  How do you want to proceed?  You
could hack panic support out, fix the documentation, and mail us the
diff.

If you prefer, I'll get around to fixing the code/docs according to your
suggestions instead.
