Pete -

I think the best approach is for you to fix the code/docs.  I'm not a
programmer and I don't feel I've got a good enough grasp of oleo to
reliably revise the documentation.  Partly what I had in mind when I wrote
"File format (cont.)" was just that it would wind up in the mail archives
where it might be helpful to someone hunting the archives for info about
setting file formats.
