Going through the occurrences of '] (' in the Emacs ChangeLogs, it seems
that at least half of them were written with the cited logic in mind,
not based on personal preference.
Can you please cite where this "logic" comes from? I cannot see any
such text in the GCS. You're making up a reasoning that does not seem
to exist.
The only thing that even hints about it is the example, and maybe
possibly the text in a very vauge, implicit manner.
How to proceed from there is a different matter, but you're just
making up reasonings and I'm not very interested in and looking for
the actual intent -- if there is one.
