Subject: | [VCDImager Bugs/Devel] VCDImager + elapsed time on tracks higher then 2 with SVCD. |

Dear Reader,
I've discovered following problem when using
VCDImager (VCDxBuilder) program in combination with SVCD's. I do not know
if this issue is known to you and us such would like to report it. I would
really appreciate if something could be done to solve this matter, as this would
make your program definitely the best around for people whose budget is not able
to support programs like I-Author.
The problem occurs with tracks higher then track
2. Example, on a 4 track SVCD all tracks higer then track 2 will provide
incorrect remaining time to the SVCD player. The elapsed time is correct
though. Also when adding chapters to jump to, these will be placed in the
correct position. So when jumping to a chapter at 10:00 minutes, on all
tracks this will operate properly. It is just that displayed
remaining time is incorrectly displayed on tracks higer then track
2. All MPEG2 tracks used were made using TMPGEnc and used the option
to correct MPEG2 offsets. There was no difference when using VBR or CBR as
encoding options. When changing the way the tracks are accessed using PBC
control you will find that always tracks higher as 2, when asked for their
remaining time, they will report the incorrect time.
In case you need additional information, or need
assistance for testing purposes or other, do not hesitate to ask
me.
I hope you can reply to this request, or even
better provide a solution to it.
Thanks VERY much for making this program available
to us as this is for me the only way I can support my hobby for
video.
Best regards,
Leon v/d Willik.
