I've managed to build Wget using MSVC ver. 16 (Visual C Express 2010). after some tweeking of Gnulib etc. Besides all the problems with the C99 syntax of data after code, there is this little issue with '_Noreturn':Can you tell us how you did it?
Do you mean how I built Wget or Gnulib using MSVC? In both cases using my home-brewed GNU makefiles. Building Gnulib also required a Python script I made. Here is the Gnulib build-zip: http://www.watt-32.net/misc/#gnulib
Also FYI Visual Studio 2013 supports C99 mixed declarations although last I checked it had a few corner case bugs.
I do have VS 2013 in my new Win8 box. But I'd like to code on Win-XP for now (where VS 2013 doesn't run). --gv
