[Bug-wget] [bug #55229] memory exhausted even though stating: Omitting download

Follow-up Comment #4, bug #55229 (project wget):

We fixed several memleaks since wget 1.18. Please try to reproduce with the
latest version (1.20).

Maybe there is (or was ?) an issue that results in loading the last file (see
your log) completely into memory. This is just a wild guess and not
reproducible here.

So the first step would be to check that behavior with the latest version of
wget
