Maybe adopting a template/guidelines for those kind of emails will be
good so it is easier to read through all of them when you can't read
them real-time or for future reference.

Something simple like:

Subject: New Feature: cfengine will now brew coffee
Subject: Change: cfenvd command line options removed: -a -b -c

Then in the body, something simple too:

==========================================================
* Description
cfengine will now brew regular and decaf coffee when executing:

cfagent --brew-coffee  (regular)
cfagent --brew-decaf   (decaf)

* Files/functions/modules/docs/whatever affected
cfagent.c
brewing.c (New file)

* Code
(attached cfagent.patch and brewing.c)
