Summary:  src/ directory in CVS checks out indefinitely

Original Submission:  I was checking out from CVS and the src/ directory which 
is probably a symlink to its parent causes the checkout to go on indefinitely.  
Before I realized it, I had checked out at least 20 levels deep.
