Hello,
I've found a crash that I can reproduce in DDD.
It goes about like this:
Open up ddd with my core file. (core.27207)
now (in this order);
open the backtrace window.
use the mouse (right click on protocol_names in line 176) and print it. "print
protocol_names" in the gdb window may or may not work.
click "down" (not in the thread window, but in the toolbar/command window)
crash.
???
Profit!
The binary (dddcrash/bin/snort), the debugged core file (dddcrash/core.27207),
ddd's core file (dddcrash/core) and the source (snort-src) are available at
http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~dschuff/dddcrash.tar.gz
oh, and i forgot to include the DDD log, it's at
http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~dschuff/log
The system is Debian GNU/Linux (sarge). other info available upon request.
thanks,
derek
