Hello,

I proposed a cryptographic protocol for anonymous voting
recently[1]. However, this protocol lacks an important part, the
handling of delegation, which is crucial in DemExp.

More importantly, designing a cryptographic protocol from scratch is a
very dangerous job. In other words, rather than designing our own
protocol, we should reuse an existing one. The only big issues is that
we need some special properties.

So, in the mid-term, we will probably need to make a review of the
literature of crypto protocols to find a suitable one for demexp. Some
protocols proposed for voting or digital money might be suitable. So if
you see such protocols, keep an eye open. And feel free to make such a
review. :)

I will also probably try to design our own protocol taking into account
delegation. This would give us a second chance if nothing suitable is
found in the litterature and more importantly it will help me to learn
how to analyze a cryptographic protocol.

Of course, we could also try to incorporate in the development team a
cryptography specialist. But how to find such a person?

Yours,
d.
