Details:
When I use the playback control to play music, it plays quite quietly, and
similarly when I record, even though, as far as I can tell, the output volume
is at maximum. I have to have the hi fi up very loud. So I have been importing
the files into audacity, and they do look quiet when I do that, then I use the
amplify feature to give the recording maximum amplification before it starts
to clip (which is it's default amplification).
