I'd like to make a suggestion about this list and other DotGNU lists.

would everyone think it a good idea to create a new mailing list called "research" where people can post links to news & projects that are about distributed computing, identity, etc, instead of posting them to this list? I know Bill lance and many others like to post here, and while I love you guys, I think it would be best to keep this developers list for development, not research into other projects or news items.

I hope this isn't taken poorly, but I think this sort of thing has enough traffic on this list to warrant a new list for it.
