I'm not exactly sure what you're saying here, but I would point out
that you're still concentrating on the transfer. Stock can exist and
be useful as merely a representation of partial ownership without any
notion of transfer whatsoever...
But whatever. It's not important. I was just trying to point out
that the problems associated with the trading of stock are not really
intrinsic to the notion of stock itself. I should probably shut up
now, as this is definitely off-topic. :-)
