This is a bit of an ethical question, the GPL as I understand it makes this legal, but say so if I'm wrong.

Is it ethical to sell support contracts, and mod-requests for dotGNU even if the person involved is not necessarily a primary developer? And can/should the resultant code be put back into the codebase?

I'm thinking of advertising this service in the near future, when I get a LOT more fammilliar with what I'm doing, and want to make sure that this is not something which is severely looked down on, or downright illegal.
