Hi Chris,
2007/2/22, Chris Double <address@hidden>:
What's the status of the ARM backend? I see in libjit-0.0.6 that there
is files for the ARM but i jit-rules.h JIT_BACKEND_ARM is commented
out. Does this mean it uses the interpreter on the ARM?
Currently the only supported libjit backend is x86. The interpreter backend
has some bugs. The alpha backend is not complete. The ARM backend
was not developed for a while and is not up to date with the rest of libjit.
The 0.1.0 release with x86 support only is expected real soon now.
After the release I have plans to complete the interpreter backend. If we will
find enough resources we will do ARM and amd64 backends as well.
Regards,
Aleksey
