[Pnet-developers] possible pnet compile problem if nptl was built into glibc

Hello,

some time ago, a bug regarding a pnet-0.6.2 compilation failure was
reported at the Gentoo bugzilla:

It is about pnet to fail compilation with threads enabled if the the
native posix thread library was built into glibc.
It doesn't seem to be related to the reporter using a glibc snapshot, it
works with the same snapshot if nptl isn't built into glibc and it
always fails if it was built in (see comment #1 on the bug).

Removing the lines from pt_defs.h that cause the problem seems to solve
the problem (thanks to leppie for the tip!) and threading still works
(see comment #2 on the bug).

I didn't post this to the savannah bugtracker since
a) I don't use a glibc with nptl being built into it so I can't give any
useful feedback on it neither can I be really sure that not something
else is broken and
b) I am not sure if removing those lines is really "secure" and/or if it
has other downsides.

So, I wonder if removing those 3 lines that cause the error is "safe"
and if anyone who uses nptl can look into this and verify it (and/or fix
;-) ?
