I got this error every run and I don't know why duplicity is not
recovering from the event?
I still got the above errors when running the below commands.
duplicity remove-all-but-n-full 1 --force \
scp://address@hidden/backup/vmail
duplicity cleanup --extra-clean --force \
scp://address@hidden/backup/vmail
Remote file or directory does not exist in command='rm
duplicity-inc.20100202T094033Z.to.20100203T223035Z.vol13.difftar.gpg'
Running 'sftp -oServerAliveInterval=15 -oServerAliveCountMax=1
address@hidden' failed (attempt #5)
- GPGError: GPG Failed, see log below...
One of the backup commands is failing because it wants the secret
master key. I setup my system that the secret master key is not
available on any system for security! It should only be used for
recovery of data from the backups. I tested this and it worked fine
until now.
I imported the secret key and ran the duplicity command's. The command
ran a successful full backup and i removed the secret key again. Now
the GPGError error is gone, but I still have no idea why the duplicity
process needed the key for the backup only. Any ideas?
duplicity --version
duplicity 0.6.06 (official debian package)
Does somebody know what I am doing wrong? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Jelle de Jong
