Yes, I have that option in gpg-agent.conf too. :)I made the backup script, but it is really simple. I just backs up a few things weekly to S3 and I am able to query the status and file list of the backup.
It is really simple but does the job. 2015.07.29 12:04 időpontban address@hidden ezt írta:
actually you would need 1. allow-loopback-pinentry in .gnupg/gpg-agent.conf and 2. gpg option '--pinentry-mode loopback' where does you backup script come from? ..ede/duply.net On 29.07.2015 11:59, address@hidden wrote:Gotcha!I skimmed through the backup script and there was it: --gpg-options "--pinentry-mode loopbackSupplying this option to the restore command solved my issue. Thank you very much for the help! I would have searched for this for days. :)Best regards, Mate 2015.07.29 11:53 időpontban address@hidden ezt írta:i am surprised duplicity backs up for you w/ gpg 2.1 .. gpg changed some stuff and you should need extra parameters for it to work properly (maybe just for decrypting though). check here http://sourceforge.net/p/ftplicity/bugs/76/ do you use duply or plain duplicity? ..ede/duply.net On 29.07.2015 11:34, address@hidden wrote:Dear Edger, thank you for the quick reply! I was able to encrypt and decrypt a file using the given key.The key was greated with GnuPG 1.4 but now I am using 2.1. The password seems to be right beacuse I am using this key to encrypt my weekly backups. Does anyone have any suggestion on this? I am not really familiar with GnuPG.ok,first try manually en/decrypting something on the command line againstthat key. see http://www.dewinter.com/gnupg_howto/english/GPGMiniHowto-4.html#ss4.1 also, 1. what is your gpg version?2. please send me the output of 'gpg --list-secret-keys' privately andmention the keyid you effectively used to back up. ..ede/duply.net_______________________________________________ Duplicity-talk mailing list address@hidden https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/duplicity-talk_______________________________________________ Duplicity-talk mailing list address@hidden https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/duplicity-talk_______________________________________________ Duplicity-talk mailing list address@hidden https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/duplicity-talk
