I'm sorry for bringing this up, again (I thought I had it all worked out).
In a nutshell, I get this error running duplicity:

BackendException:
   PyDrive backend requires PyDrive installation
   Please read the manpage to fix.

Here are is the result of "pip list" on Fedora 23 x86-64.
I assume these versions are sufficiently up-to-date?
No patches are needed? (like pydrivebackend.patch ?)
