I just tried it with Emacs's `master` and `C-h o seq-first RET` tells me: seq-first is a compiled Lisp function in ‘seq.el’. (seq-first SEQUENCE) Other relevant functions are documented in the sequence group. Probably introduced at or before Emacs version 27.1. Return the first element of SEQUENCE. -- Stefan
